“Photo in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej” Project
Social Administration Faculty, Thammasat University and South East Asia University jointly hold a press conference for “Photo in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej” Project for people to have their photos taken while paying respect to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Presided at the press conference are Professor Dr.Somkit Lertpaithoon, Rector of Thammasat University, Association Professor Dr.Kovit Puang-ngam, Dean of Faculty of Social Administration Thammasat University and Mr. Chattavut Peechapol, President, Southeast Asia University at Meeting Room 205, 2nd floor, Faculty of Social Administration Thammasat University, Tha Prachan.
Association Professor Dr.Kovit Puang-ngam, Dean of Faculty of Social Administration Thammasat University said that “the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej was the greatest loss for Thai people so the state and private entities along with the public have concertedly organised various activities to show their condolences and undying loyalty. Thammasat University, Tha Prachan is an academic institution that is located close to the Grand Palace and the Royal Turf where people come to pay respect to the late His Majesty the King, is equipped with facilities such as restroom, coordinating center for volunteers while the area around Social Administration Faculty offers food and beverage for people and volunteers from nationwide.
Therefore, the Social Administration Faculty, Thammasat University and South East Asia University have initiated the “Photo in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej” Project to keep this memory in a photo form which would help raise awareness for the faculty. The project provide 200 photo shots a day for 5 months of people paying respect to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej in a 6x8 color photo with 11 backgrounds to be chosen including His Majesty the King's activities, the Grand Palace, etc. This project is expected to be another landmark for volunteers' activities in this historic event.”
